Detailed Information

Qualifications
Undergraduate and graduate students, who have been granted refugee status or the right to asylum, are eligible for support if they face a genuine risk of being denied their right to education in their home country. This might be due to their ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious beliefs or their active political or civic position. According to DAAD's definition, taking an active political, civic or similar stance means either being a member of relevant groups or engaging in individual activities based on liberal democratic principles that aim to promote positive social change.

To apply for the Hilda Domin program, you cannot do it on your own. You need to be nominated by a registered legal entity institution in Germany.
