NRWege scholarship

Persons with refugee experience who are willing and able to study and whose entry to Germany was not more than five years ago. This includes: Persons entitled to asylum, persons recognised as refugees or persons entitled to subsidiary protection as well as persons for whom a national ban on deportation has been established as well as comparable persons who have a residence permit (§§ 25 par. 1-5, 23 par. 1 and 2, 23 par. 4, 23a (Residence Act - Aufenthaltsgesetz). Persons who have been admitted on the basis of the Mass Influx Directive and have a right of residence pursuant to section § 24 Residence Act - Aufenthaltsgesetz. Persons who have received a rejection in the asylum procedure conducted by the BAMF, but whose deportation has been temporarily suspended = "Duldung" (toleration pursuant to § 60 a para. 2 Residence Act - Aufenthaltsgesetz).

Application for course fundig (starting with level B1 GER) according to the programme "NRWege ins Studium" must contain the following attachment: - Letter of motivation for the respective quarter - copy of you residence document* - Willingness to provide the necessary own data to the university in the context of the scholarship and willingness to participate in surveys/studies

Does not accept transfer credit.
