Qualifications

General requirements for the recognition of your university degree: Fulfilment of the requirements for a doctorate at your home university Studies of at least 8 semesters at a scientific university with a final examination and usually a scientific thesis (Master's thesis) ***German: At all faculties, doctorates can be completed in both German and English. However, a doctorate in English is only possible at some faculties upon application. Under certain circumstances, it is also possible to do a doctorate in another language. ***Please have your doctoral supervisor confirm you: a) in which language you want to write the dissertation,; b) in which language the oral examination (disputatio or rigorosum) will take place.
