Scholarships
The scholarship funds are the same for all scholarship organizations for gifted students, as the BMBF determines the framework conditions for funding. The guidelines are based on the Federal Students Assistance Act. For talent-specific reasons, they may provide for regulations or exceptions that deviate from the Federal Students Assistance Act. Each scholarship holder receives a standardized flat-rate tuition fee of €300 per month. If there is economic need beyond this, scholarship holders receive a basic scholarship of a maximum of €649 per month in addition to the €300. If the requirements of § 13 a Federal Students Assistance Act are met, it is possible to increase the amount for health insurance by up to €71 and for long-term care insurance by a further €15. In addition, a family allowance of €155 per month can be paid if there is at least one child living in the household.
