Exceptional transitional measures have been taken by mutual agreement with the Universities of the French Community of Belgium (Wallonia-Brussels Federation) in order to promote the integration of refugee students into the Belgian French-speaking university system.

Qualifications

Persons affected by these measures must meet the following conditions: either be an asylum seeker in Belgium; or have refugee status in Belgium at the earliest since January 1 of the calendar year preceding the academic year of registration. Free admission is granted for:egistration as a private student for three teaching units (courses) including the possibility of taking the French as a foreign language course .
