Monash Humanitarian Scholarship

You must be one of the following: An International student You must meet the following criteria: A person who is in Australia and currently on: Temporary Humanitarian Stay visa (Subclass 449) Temporary Protection visa (Subclass 785) Temporary Humanitarian Concern visa (Subclass 786) Safe Haven Enterprise visa (Subclass 790) Bridging visa A (Subclass 010) or Bridging visa E (Subclass 050 and 051) (inactive visas included) AND have applied for a Permanent Protection visa A commencing or continuing student enrolled or intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree as an international student at a Monash campus in Australia. Have achieved a minimum ATAR of 70.00, OR for current students a minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 60, OR equivalent academic achievement.

VTAC applicants VTAC applicants will be automatically considered for this scholarship if you apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) between Monday 29 July (9am) and Friday 11 October (5pm) and meet the scholarship eligibility requirements. You must have a Monash course listed as at least one of your course preferences in VTAC to be considered. Non-VTAC applicants and current students If you are a current Monash student or applying directly to Monash for your course, you will need to complete a separate application form to be considered. Applications will close on Friday 13 June 2025 (5pm). You must have received a Semester 2 2025 undergraduate course offer, or be enrolled in an undergraduate course, with Monash University by Tuesday 24 June 2025 to be considered.
