Incluusion: Study at UU

As a refugee student, you can study at UU in two ways. You can apply for a bachelor’s or master’s programme. You can read more about admission to our bachelor’s programmes below. You can follow single bachelor courses through Incluusion. This education is free and you do not receive any credits for it. All of Incluusion's courses are offered in English. Most students who choose this option are still in an asylum procedure. On this page you will find more information about both options. Additionally, you will find information on how to prepare for studying at a (Dutch) university, and where you can get support in choosing a study programme that suits you. Do you want to pursue a bachelor's degree at UU? The admissions requirements for each bachelor’s programme are described online on the respective programme pages. The requirements vary per programme, so read them carefully for all programmes you are interested in.You must pay an application fee of €100 to apply. Applications made without the fee being paid will not be considered. The application fee is non-refundable. Payment of the application fee is integrated into OSIRIS Online Application. The payment portal will become available after you have uploaded your application documents. The following do not need to pay the application fee: Exchange students currently registered at Utrecht University. Students registered as refugees in the Netherlands. Students applying for admission based on an International Baccalaureate external link or European Baccalaureate external link diploma. Students applying for admission based on a qualification certificate from an EU/EEA country, British GCE A-Levels, a VWO Diploma from Aruba, Curaçao or Suriname, or a Maturitätszeugnis/Certificat de Maturité/Attestato di Maturitá from Switzerland. Please note that students who wish to apply for more than one programme only need to pay the application fee once. The application fee payment process is integrated into OSIRIS Online Application. The fee can be paid by VISA or MasterCard (debit or credit card). We also offer the option of paying with iDEAL, Bancontact or Sofort. You can find more information in the payment portal. If you qualify for an exemption from the application fee, you will actively have to apply for an exemption from the obligation to pay this fee in OSIRIS Online Application. It may take up to two business days for us to process this request for exemption, so please take this into account when preparing your application.
