Sanctuary Scholarships

Kingston University has four fee-remitted Sanctuary Scholarships available each academic year for Asylum Seeking applicants with no access to Student Finance. This is in support of STAR's Equal Access Campaign which aims to create scholarship pathways to provide higher education to refugees and asylum seekers who have fled persecution and sought asylum in the UK. Search confirms the scholarship remains active with a live, current guidance document ('Sanctuary Scholarship Application Guidance Notes Academic Year 2026/2027') at the same institutional domain, and current terms (four fee-remitted places/year, £6,900 bursary). Applications for September 2026 entry have closed, with September 2027 entry applications opening March 2027 — confirming an active, ongoing annual cycle rather than discontinuation.
