Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students Our scholarship enables committed young students to focus on their studies and to prepare for their future careers in the public and the private sector, especially in academia, state institutions and international organizations, civic society, media or in the cultural sphere. Scholarship for PhD candidates With our PhD scholarships we support socially and/or politically committed postgraduate students with excellent academic results, preparing them to take over responsibility and leadership respectively (see below for more information). Requirements: Academic achievements: You have completed your schooling and studies with above-average grades. Values: You identify with the political stances represented by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. Volunteering: You are involved in voluntary work in political, social and cultural areas. Initiative: You are willing to actively participate in our scholarship programmm. Open-mindedness: You are interested in a broad range of topics beyond your reserach area. You also appreciate the exchange within a multicultural environment. PhD research project: You have a clear objective. You are familiar with the current state of research, main arguments and methodologies in your subject area. Your proposal reflects this academic competence and is convincing in terms of both content and language. Your PhD supervisor is familiar with your proposal and supports your application.

Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students Please apply online on campus.kas.de until 15 January or 15 July annually. You are required to upload the following application documents: written out and tabular curriculum vitae of up to three pages, certified copy of the admission letter from your German university, letter of assessment of your academic skills (e.g. by a professor at your university), copy of the transcript of your university grades and courses (or single course certificates), matriculation certificate, copy of all your academic diploma and training certificates, proof of German language skills at B2 level. You are required to upload the following application documents proof of advanced German language skills (at least equivalent to Goethe-Zertifikat C1).
