Südwestfalen University Foundation - Scholarship

The scholarships are awarded upon application to students of the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen in Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. Applications from first-year students are permitted. When applying, the following requirements must be met, among others: The applicant must credibly demonstrate that his/her previous academic achievements or examination results allow him/her to expect a successful completion of his/her studies. The applicant's profile must correspond to the current focus area advertised. Current funding focus: Students enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen whose personal living circumstances make it significantly difficult for them to begin or continue their studies are eligible for funding. In the case of individual scholarships for students in emergency situations, the amount of the scholarship depends on the individual need; the scholarship is awarded as emergency aid.

Applications must be submitted in writing for the winter semester and addressed to the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Further details and the application deadline are included in the current advertisement. The application documents should contain: Short report on the status of studies or school education current certificate of study Evidence of previous academic achievements or examination results (final certificate or current grade sheet) Brief description of the special personal situation and justification for the application, which in particular also shows the extracurricular or social commitment of the student Explain why you cannot finance your studies on your own using the form "Description of your financial situation". Attach bank statements Information on whether and, if so, how much a scholarship is being received from another scholarship provider
