Freedom Degree is a nonprofit initiative that supports students and academics from the post-Soviet countries, whose access to education and research has been disrupted by political persecution, war, forced migration, or instability in their home region.

We are building a safe and independent online platform that brings together:

- Students seeking education abroad

- Academics and researchers in search of freedom and new opportunities

- Educational institutions willing to support students from vulnerable backgrounds

Our student dashboard includes easy-to-use search, filtering, and program selection tools.

Promotion

Programs that support at-risk students are listed in our database free of charge.

Commercial programs can also be featured — clearly marked as "commercial" and included via a subscription that helps support our mission.

Academic Talent Pool

Researchers and lecturers can upload their CVs to our platform, which are then accessible to verified institutional representatives through a secure dashboard. You can search candidates by field and experience and contact them directly.

How to Start Collaborating

1. Register as a provider on our website. This will create your account and link it to an existing or new institution in our database.

2. Go through moderation (2 to 5 business days). All institutions and first-time users are verified before account access is granted. This ensures data quality and platform security.

3. Publish your programs: Free programs can be listed immediately Commercial listings require an active subscription, which can be managed anytime in your dashboard.

4. Keep your listings updated. Programs remain visible in the search for one year from the publication date. Before expiration, you will receive an automatic reminder to renew the listing and subscription if needed — this helps us keep the database current.

5. Use your dashboard to discover new collaborators.

Subscription

If you would like to feature study programs that do not offer special conditions or scholarships for at-risk students, they will be marked as “commercial” in our database. In this case, we kindly ask you to support the platform with a small donation and activate a subscription for commercial listings.

All contributions go toward project development and scholarships for vulnerable undergraduate students.
