Supports students at risk

Students with a refugee background who study at the University of Muenster and who fulfill the requirements for the successful completion of a study programme can apply for the NRWege scholarship. Language course participants and doctorate students are excluded from this programme.

Qualifications

Students can apply for the NRWege scholarship: if their university entrance qualification was obtained outside Germany; if they do not receive social benefits/welfare; if they do not have a settlement permit (Niederlassungserlaubnis); if they do not have German citizenship; if their entry to Germany was no longer than 5 years ago. There are exceptions to this rule. Please contact us if this rule applies to you/your situation. Selection criteria: Financial situation; Academic achievement(s); Voluntary/social commitment
