SIMHE scholarship

Have a residence permit on grounds of asylum (refugee status); Have a residence permit on grounds of subsidiary protection; Have arrived in Finland under the refugee quota. If you have completed your primary education in Finland, you cannot get the SIMHE scholarship. For the scholarship you need a certificate about your refugee status or the grounds for your residence permit from the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri). You have to apply for a study place at the University of Helsinki to be able to apply for the SIMHE scholarship.Fill in an application to your chosen master’s programme. Follow all the instructions for applying to your programme. Remember to submit all the required enclosures before the deadline. At the end of the application form there are scholarship questions. Answer the SIMHE scholarship questions. Submit Migri’s certificate to Admission Services. See instructions below. If you are applying for a Bachelor’s programme in Science: Fill in an application to the bachelor’s programme. Follow all the instructions for applying to your programme.
