Admission
4.1.6 If the number of Immigrant or Refugee candidates in vulnerable situations who meet the requirements of this notice exceeds the number of vacancies mentioned in item 2, the following criteria will be adopted in order of priority: a) Higher overall score in terms of items 4.1.1 to 4.1.3; b) Shorter duration of stay in Brazil counted in years, months, and days up to the registration deadline, in the case that no candidate has taken the ENEM; c) Older age counted in years, months, and days up to the registration deadline, in the case that no candidate has taken the ENEM. 4.2. A period of 2 days will be granted for appeals against the result of this selection process, counting from the date of the result's publication. 5.2.2. Candidates must prove their status as Immigrants or Refugees in vulnerable situations by presenting the following documents: a) Documentation proving refugee status, issued by CONARE, for the applicant in refugee status; b) Refugee application protocol issued by the Federal Police, accompanied by proof of vulnerability; c) Foreign identity card with provisional or permanent residence issued by the Federal Police or an equivalent document, such as a passport, for the immigrant outside the refugee category; 5.3. The candidate selected for access to Undergraduate Courses who does not complete their enrollment within the established period, as well as those who do not submit the required documentation as provided in the Call Notice, will lose the right to the University spot. 5.4. If there are remaining unfilled vacancies, UFBA may make new calls, following the candidates' ranking order, within the deadline limit provided in the academic calendar, in accordance with the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Education Regulations of the University. The possible calls will occur at the discretion of UFBA, and under no circumstances will new calls be made after 25% (twenty-five percent) of the ongoing semester has passed.
Qualifications
1.5. Immigrant or Refugee candidates in Brazil in vulnerable situations who have completed high school or equivalent. Taking the ENEM (National High School Exam) for these candidates is optional. 1.6. The condition of Immigrants or Refugees in vulnerable situations will be proven by presenting one of the following documents: a) National Migration Registration Card (CRNM) or National Foreign Registration (RNE); b) Document proving refugee status issued by the National Committee for Refugees (CONARE-MJ); c) Provisional National Migration Registration Document (DPRNM); d) Refugee application protocol with the Federal Police. 1.7. The condition of technical-administrative staff in education at UFBA will be proven by a document that confirms the respective employment relationship.
Procedure
Register during the period from 9:00 AM on 02/01 to 5:00 PM on 02/06/2024, online at: https://ingresso.ufba.br/indigenas-aldeados-pessoas-trans-refugiados-e-taes 3.3. Properly fill out the online Registration Request, following the on-screen procedures and instructions in this Notice, as well as print and verify the data and information recorded in your Registration Request. 3.4. No registration fee will be charged. 3.5. It is the complete and exclusive responsibility of the candidate to fill out the Registration Request correctly and completely. Their registration or enrollment at the University may be canceled at any time, in addition to other legal implications, in cases of fraud or false information, particularly those related to the benefit of reserved vacancies. 3.6. For registration, candidates must necessarily indicate an official Identity document, Taxpayer Identification Number (CPF) from the Federal Revenue Service, and ENEM registration, recording these numbers with utmost care, as they electronically identify the candidate in this selection process. 3.6.1 For Immigrant or Refugee candidates in vulnerable situations, the official identity document will be the permanent or temporary humanitarian visa, issued by the National Immigration Council. 3.6.2. Since taking the ENEM is optional for Immigrant or Refugee candidates in vulnerable situations, candidates from this group who did not take the ENEM are not required to indicate their registration number. 3.7. The identity document indicated at the time of registration must be the same and must be presented whenever requested during the entire enrollment process at the University.
