For the sixth consecutive year, DIME and the International Institute of Education (IIE) launched the Habesha Américas/IIE Odyssey call for applications, which is aimed at people with refugee status in Mexico in order to continue their higher education studies at one of our partner universities.

Detailed Information
Qualifications
Status as a refugee in Mexico through the Mexican Commission for Aid to Refugees (COMAR).
Be between 18 and 23 years old for undergraduate degrees and between 22 and 27 years old for master's degrees.
Have completed high school (upper secondary education) in the country of origin or in Mexico.
Have all the documents requested by DIME and the IIE.
Character and determination to successfully adapt to new environments.
Leadership skills and a desire to contribute to the community.
Be willing to relocate to another state to complete the academic program.

Fill out the online application form available here, and include all the requested information and documents.
All documents must be uploaded in PDF format, and if selected, they will need to be presented in physical form.
Academic Transfer
Accepts transfer credit.
