Qualifications

The LL.M. International Business and Trade Law program considers applicants who meet at least one of the following criteria. Have completed a university first cycle (undergraduate) or integrated education studies in the study field of Law. Have completed a non-university higher education (college, university of applied science) first cycle study program in the study field of Law and additional training in the field of Law, conducted at the university level, the volume of which is at least 60 credits. Have completed first (undergraduate) or second (graduate) cycle university studies not in the study field of Law and additional studies in the field of Law, conducted at the university level, the volume of which is at least 60 credits. Have completed first (undergraduate) or second (graduate) cycle university studies in other study fields than Law but have at least 3 years of work experience in the field of jurisprudence related to the study program. In this case, mandatory additional completion of disciplines in the study field of Law of at least 15 credits. * The legal experience of the applicant is evaluated as per the university’s regulations. * Applicants without a bachelor’s degree in the specified field may need to undergo additional training according to an individual plan. English requirements: CEFR level B2; or IELTS 5.5 (no less than 5.0 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 72; or equivalent. Alternatively, evidence you have previously studied in English can be accepted. We also offer an internal English test for applicants who are unable to provide an English Proficiency letter. * EHU offers English courses for applicants who do not have required certificates or did not achieve the required level of English.
