NRWege Scholarship for students affected by the war in Ukraine

Supports students at risk

With the support of the German Academic Exchange Service with funds from the Federal Foreign Office, the HSBI International Office is once again able to provide financial support to students who have fallen into financial hardship as a result of the war in Ukraine. Retroactively from March 2024 for up to 12 months, the International Office is offering the following scholarships: (up to) 10 scholarships for persons affected by the war in Ukraine The scholarship is aimed at students who have experienced financial hardship due to the war in Ukraine. Applications are open to Ukrainians and nationals of other countries.

Detailed Information

Admission
The selection is made by a selection committee formed by employees of the HSBI International Office. The selection will be made in a committee round of the participants on the basis of the available application documents. In this context, the letter of motivation is of particular importance.

Direct impact of the war in Ukraine and resulting financial problems Enrollment at HSBI in the summer semester 2024 (full scholarship WiSe 2024/25) Max. 520,00€ gross income per month from own work No further scholarships during the funding period
