FdIS Program: Academic Integration Program for Refugees

Supports students at risk

The Academic Integration Program for Refugees (“Förderung der Integration in das Studium”) seeks to prepare refugees to enroll in a degree program at the University of Bonn and provide them with an introduction to the academic environment of a German university. The FdIS program largely consists of an intensive, advanced level German language course. Participants are also permitted to attend courses in selected areas of study offered by those disciplines involved in organizing the program (with the exception of medicine, dentistry or pharmacy). Participation in this program does not require confirmed eligibility to study at the university.
