NRWege ins Studium- Scholarships

You have refugee status in the sense of the "NRWege ins Studium" programme, see info sheet. You acquired your university entrance qualification abroad. You are enrolled at HSD or you have been admitted to study in the summer semester 2024. You have not been in Germany for more than 5 years at the time of application (exceptions to the 5-year rule can be found in the application form). They are willing to participate in the IO's counselling services and workshops. You are in a financial emergency situation and can prove that you are unable to finance your studies. (For scholarship holders with above-average academic performance who receive BAföG, a partial scholarship could be granted).

If you are studying or planning to study at HSD and need financial support, you can apply for the NRWege ins Studium scholarships, which are aimed at students in the following study phases: 1- Introductory scholarship (1st semester): The study entry scholarship is aimed at highly motivated prospective students who are admitted by the HSD for the first semester and enrol within the enrolment period. 2- Study scholarship (from 2nd semester): The study scholarship is aimed at highly motivated and particularly talented international students with a refugee background who are studying at HSD in at least their second semester.
