University entrance qualification There are a variety of different paths that qualify you to study at the Westfälische Hochschule. You need one of the following qualifications: University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification General University Entrance Qualification subject-specific university entrance qualification an access authorization recognized as equivalent Professional qualification: Even without a high school diploma or university entrance qualification, you can study as a professionally qualified person under certain conditions. Depending on your previous professional qualifications, the options for university admission vary. A distinction is made between the following three groups: People who have completed advanced training (master craftsman's certificate, state-certified technician, business administrator) have access to all courses of study. This applies regardless of the technical focus of the training. Persons with at least two years of vocational training and subsequent at least three years of work in the learned profession have access to a corresponding degree course. People with training and subsequent employment that are not related to the desired degree program can take an entrance examination. Or they can take a two-semester trial course - only in degree programs with open admission.
