Qualifications
To be eligible for this Scholarship you should have applied for admission to an undergraduate degree programme at The University of Edinburgh commencing in 2025-2026 and received confirmation from the Fees and Student Support Team that your fees status has been updated to home student-Scotland fee rate (Asylum Seeker) Further information on applying for admission can be found at: Undergraduate admission Further information on fee status eligibility can be found at: Asylum seeker tuition fee status
Procedure
All eligible applicants will be contacted and must complete our online application form by 23:59 (GMT) on Friday 23rd of May 2025. If you think you are eligible please contact us by emailing studentfundingteam@ed.ac.uk Supporting Statement As part of your application, you will also be required to email a supporting statement from your legal representative or the charitable body representing your case in the UK. Please clearly state in the title it is for an Asylum Seeker Scholarship. This supporting statement should provide details of your current immigration status and an indication of timescales for the Home Office decision on your asylum claim. Please send this email to studentfundingteam@ed.ac.uk Application Forms and supporting statements submitted after the deadline date will NOT be considered. If your status changes If your status changes at any point prior to or during your studies, you must notify the Fees and Student Support team immediately regarding your change in status.
Academic Transfer
Accepts transfer credit.
