Qualifications
To be eligible applicants must: Hold a firm conditional or unconditional offer for full time study at the University of Glasgow for 2025/26 Have submitted a claim for asylum in the UK OR are actively appealing a negative decision on claim for asylum in the UK OR have been granted Refugee Status, Humanitarian Protection (HP) or Discretionary Leave (DL) by the Home Office, as a result of an asylum claim. OR Have come to the UK through schemes such as: UK Resettlement Scheme (UKRS) Afghan citizens Resettlement Scheme Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP) Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme (VPRS) Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme (Homes for Ukraine) Ukraine Family Scheme

No applications will be accepted after this date. Please note that you must have applied to the University before submitting an application for this scholarship Applications CAN NOT be considered without the relevant documentation to support them: - If you are subject to Home Office Temporary Admission/Immigration Bail Reporting, please provide your: • Application Registration Card (ARC) or Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) – Front AND Back • Immigration Bail Reporting Notice (this may also be referred to as a Temporary Admission Document or BAIL 201) – please include every page of this document. OR If you are not subject to Home Office Temporary Admission/Immigration Bail Reporting, please provide your: • Application Registration Card (ARC) or Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) – Front AND Back • The most recent documentation you have received from the Home Office in conjunction with your application/appeal – this should show your Home Office reference number. OR A share code provided by the UK government that can prove your right to study in the UK. You will may have access to a share code if you have an e-visa, more information can be found here IMPORTANT EVISA INFORMATION - If you have a BRP expiring on 31st December 2025, but your overall visa permission is longer than this, you must take action now.
