Qualifications
To be eligible applicants must: Hold a firm conditional or unconditional offer for full time study at the University of Glasgow for 2024/25 Have submitted a claim for asylum in the UK OR are actively appealing a negative decision on claim for asylum in the UK OR have been granted Refugee Status, Humanitarian Protection (HP) or Discretionary Leave (DL) by the Home Office, as a result of an asylum claim.
Procedure
This scholarship is now closed and no further applications will be accepted. Please note that you must have applied to the University before submitting an application for this scholarship. In addition to completing the application form, you must also email scanned copies of the following documents in support of your application to scholarships@glasgow.ac.uk. Applications CAN NOT be considered without the relevant documentation to support them: - If you are subject to Home Office Temporary Admission/Immigration Bail Reporting, please provide your: • Application Registration Card (ARC) or Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) – Front AND Back • Immigration Bail Reporting Notice (this may also be referred to as a Temporary Admission Document or BAIL 201) – please include every page of this document. If you are not subject to Home Office Temporary Admission/Immigration Bail Reporting, please provide your: • Application Registration Card (ARC) or Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) – Front AND Back • The most recent documentation you have received from the Home Office in conjunction with your application/appeal – this should show your Home Office reference number. If you do not fall within either of these categories, you should email copies of your relevant documentation confirming your immigration status/the scheme you have entered the UK under, before the scholarship deadline.

Accepts transfer credit.
