MPOWER Refugee Scholarship
Supports students at risk
We’re proud to announce the MPOWER Refugee Scholarship, which is designed to support students who are fleeing harsh conditions from around the world and are immigrating to the U.S. or Canada for a better future. MPOWER’s Global Citizens Fund will grant three awards totalling US$5,000 to support eligible students from around the world.

Detailed Information
Qualifications
Be accepted at or enrolled in a full-time degree program at a U.S. or Canadian school that MPOWER supports, and
Be an international student allowed to legally study in the U.S. or Canada, as applicable through one of the following:
Be a refugee or asylee from any country (or pursuing such status)
Have Temporary Protected Status
Be a beneficiary of Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) status
You do not need to apply for a loan with MPOWER but are welcome to.

Academic Transfer
Accepts transfer credit.
