As part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s economic support measures for displaced people from Ukraine, financial assistance will be provided to eligible students at Tokyo Metropolitan University.

Qualifications

Those who meet all of the following requirements: (1) Students at Tokyo Metropolitan University (including those who are applying for admission and completing admission procedures) (2) Ukrainian evacuee. *Submission of a copy of documents verifying that the applicant is a Ukrainian displaced person, such as a certificate of Ukrainian evacuee status or a passport with a stamp indicating Ukrainian evacuee status, is required. The following fees are not charged to those eligible for support, as they are covered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. a. Entrance examination fee b. Admission fee c. Tuition fee In addition, for those who wish to live in TMU’s International Student House (Global House Chofu), please check the following website (the room fee is covered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government).
