Supports students at risk
As part of the "Future Ukraine" program, scholarships are awarded to Ukrainian students who have fled Ukraine and are characterized by a high motivation and probability of academic success. The scholarships are financed by funds from the Federal Foreign Office (AA) and funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Admission
After the application deadline has ended and the applicants have been selected by a commission, the International Office will inform you of the result of your application.

Qualifications
Enrolment in regular degree programme/doctorate at the university;
Proven refugee background and corresponding residence status;
Financial need;
Ukrainian citizenship (who had their main residence in Ukraine until 24 February 2022) or third-country nationals or stateless persons who enjoyed international protection in Ukraine or had a permanent residence permit in Ukraine
Procedure
If you are interested, please contact us by e-mail (refugees@h-brs.de) to be able to submit an application. Only complete application documents can be considered. Please submit the following application documents to the International Office.
Academic Transfer
Accepts transfer credit.
Scholarships
The scholarships are awarded for a period of up to 12 months. Scholarship holders receive a monthly instalment of a maximum of 931 euros as part of the scholarship. Benefits from other sources of state funding are credited towards the scholarship. If the scholarship holder returns to Ukraine to continue their studies and continue the scholarship at a Ukrainian university, this can be supported by a one-time mobility scholarship in the amount of 350 euros.
